Taylor is a village nestled in the rolling hills of Jackson County, Wisconsin, along the Trempealeau River. With a population of 476 this small community is full of commerce and agriculture that make it a thriving community. There are plenty of organizations within this community that host events and activities for all ages throughout the year.

Taylor has an abundance of attractions and activities for every age, we are rich with incredible sources of natural beauty, and we are certain you will have the feeling of being inspired and refreshed. There are 2 beautiful parks for young and old to enjoy. River Park has a walking trail along the beautiful Trempealeau River. This primative park gives the nature lover a chance to enjoy an abundance of wildlife, and seasonal scenic views. Many use this park for trout fishing. Two ball parks in the village gives people of any age the chance to watch many of the games being played all summer long. There are hundreds of miles of snowmobiling trails in the area which go through Taylor.
Food, beverage, and gas available for those winter enthusiasts. The Taylor area is also an excellent place for whitetail deer hunting. It’s only miles from the deer hunting capitol of Wisconsin. There are many registration stations available. Taylor is also an Amish community, many Amish vendors line the back roads with baked goods, produce, and other Amish made products. Close by is the HoChunk Indian Gaming Casino, open 24 hours a day in Black River Falls. If you are looking for a little rest and relaxation try the Bramble Berry Bed & Breakfast operated by Chris Hardie or the Homestead Country Retreat. Both are located in the Taylor area country side.
