Vintage 1950’s-era Raylite Electric Co ivory plastic cathedral with embossed silver (tin?) double doors – – the doors open to reveal a beautifully illuminated scene of the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus. There is a wind-up musical feature and it plays “Silent Night”. Stands approximately 11.5″ tall.

In the style of Erzgebirge and Putz, but actually by Italian craftspeople. Very clean and fresh pieces, with typical surface wear and aging of materials. One missing wing (to the yellow one) and one missing drum stick (from the white one) — otherwise complete.
