The front of the roof is a gingerbread look. NEW Batteries are included. You get ONE village building that does LIGHT UP when batteries are added ( I will include new batteries). There may be a few places where there is paint overspray or imperfections in the molding, but this is typical of resin buildings which are made to look like shabby chic.
