Difficulties with Online Bill Payment

By on

If you have tried to pay your water utility bill online this past fall and winter, you have probably encountered some processing issues. It has been frustrating for us at the village office, and no doubt it has been frustrating for you, as well.

The issues stem from attempts at unauthorized use of credit and/or debit cards. The security measures we have in place prevent these attempts from being successful, however, they sometimes do create a denial of service condition for you, our customers. This activity does not put your account information in jeopardy; we do not store your data, nor is that what these fraudsters are seeking.

Once we are aware that customers are unable to pay online we attempt to fix the problem. So if you are having trouble, please notify us at the village office by telephone 715-662-3404, or email deputyclerk@vi.taylor.wi.gov.

And if you are unable to pay online, please consider other payment options. We are able to process your credit card payments here at the village office. We also accept cash, checks, and money orders. If you are unable to make it the the village office during the hours of operation, payment can be deposited into the drop box located by the Second St. entrance.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.
